The 'Super Heinz' bet involves 7 selections, which results in a total of 120 individual bets overall. The 120 bets within a Super Heinz are as follows; 21 doubles, 35 trebles, 35 four-fold accumulators, 21 five-fold accumulators, seven six-fold accumulators and one seven-fold accumulator.
A Super Heinz bet is a variety of a Heinz bet and follows a similar pattern however it involves seven selections, rather than six. This additional selection more than doubles the total number of bets being placed. It is designed to cover a large variety of outcomes, but it does not cover all of them as there are no single selections. This means if only one selection wins there would not be any return.
Due to the very high number of bets being placed, it is an expensive bet to place. For example, if you place a £2 Super Heinz, you are actually placing 120 £2 bets meaning your total bet would be worth £240. If you raise the base stake to £10 your overall stake would be £1,200.
Even if some of the selections do not win you can still get a return with a Super Heinz, however due to the high overall stake you will likely need three or four of the selections to win in order to make a profit (depending on the price of the selections).
The Heinz bet takes its name from the Heinz company, which is best known for making soup and other foods. In the company's early days in 1896, it ran an advertising campaign that promised 57 pickle varieties. As the regular heinz bet offers 57 different bets, the bet is named after that slogan. The Super Heinz bet expands on these 57 bets by adding another selection, and so has retained the name with the addition of 'super' to emphasise the greater number of bets.
The bets made in a Super Heinz are: 21 doubles, 35 trebles, 35 four-fold accumulators, 21 five-fold accumulators, seven six-fold accumulators and one seven-fold accumulator.
Let's work through an example of a Super Heinz using the below match winner bets in football:
In this example, we are making bets using every combination of the above selections, except for singles. This means as long as two of the selections win, you would have a part of the bet winning. For example, if only Manchester United and Aston Villa won there would be a return, albeit a small one compared to the total stake.
While only 2 winning selections is unlikely to cover the stake of such a large bet, it is easy to see how 3 or 4 winning selections rapidly increases the return. For example, if Manchester United, Arsenal, Everton and Chelsea all won you would have several winning lines. In this scenario you would have six winning doubles, three winning trebles and a winning four-fold accumulator.
One winning selection = No return as there are no single bets in a Super Heinz.
Two winning selections = one winning double.
Three winning selections = three winning doubles and one winning treble.
Four winning selections = six winning doubles, three winning trebles and a winning four-fold accumulator.
Five winning selections = 10 winning doubles, 10 winning trebles, five winning four-fold accumulators and a winning five-fold accumulator.
Six winning selections = 15 winning doubles, 20 winning trebles, 15 winning four-fold accumulators, six winning five-fold acumulators and a winning six-fold accumulator.
Seven winning selections = 21 winning doubles, 35 winning trebles, 35 winning four-fold accumulators, 21 winning five-fold selections, seven winning six-fold accumulators and a winning seven-fold accumulator.

The return on a Super Heinz can very greatly and as such can be appealing to bettors looking to land a bigger return while also covering some losing results. However, with such a large overall stake you are likely to need several winning selections in order to simply cover the original stake and a common barrier to this bet type is the large initial investment required.
