Manchester United were handed a tough-looking Champions League draw with PSG and RB Leipzig in their group, while Lionel Messi's Barcelona drew Cristiano Ronaldo's Juventus.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side were handed the toughest assignment of the Premier League contingent having been drawn alongside last season's beaten finalists PSG and semi-finalists RB Leipzig - with those two sides playing in the last four in August. İstanbul Basaksehir complete the group.
By contrast, Manchester City will feel very happy with their draw having been pitted against Porto, Olympiacos and Marseille, while Chelsea were paired with Europa League winners Sevilla, Russian debutants Krasnodar and Rennes.
2019 winners Liverpool have an interesting group, with the Premier League champions facing Dutch giants Ajax and exciting Italian outfit Atalanta - who reached the quarter-finals last season on their debut. FC Midtjylland are the fourth team in Group D.
Defending champions Bayern Munich will face Atletico Madrd, FC Salzburg and Lokomotiv Moscow and should have few problems qualifying from their section.
One of the most eye-catching draws sees Juventus facing Barcelona in Group G, which of course will see Messi and Ronaldo go head-to-head once again. Both of the living legends had a poor Champions League by their standards last season and time is running out for them to try and win the trophy once again.
