Soccer Saturday Super 6 scores
Saturday football blog
1658: Super 6: Not won. Soccer Saturday Price Boost: Not won. Sporting Life Acca: Ah, look, it's not easy, you know. Let's all regroup and go again next time. Meanwhile, head here to follow Manchester United v Leicester.
1656: FT: Newcastle 3-0 West Ham
Newcastle are up and running for the season. West Ham are not. Keeping Slaven Bilic purely because of that 1-0 win over Spurs in the West Ham Cup Final starting to look like it might have been a bit of an error.
1654: Early indications show that the £1m Super 6 jackpot remains unclaimed. Jeff keeps hold of the briefcase once more. Sheffield United make sure of the points with a late third at Bramall Lane.
1652: FT: Crystal Palace 0-2 Swansea
Boos echo around Selhurst Park as Palace slump to a third straight defeat. They're alongside West Ham and Bournemouth on that mark, but after home defeats to Huddersfield and Swansea have surely made the worst start out of all the current strugglers.
1651: FT: Watford 0-0 Brighton
Marco Silva and Watford will probably take that after playing three quarters of the game with 10 men.
1650: FT: Huddersfield 0-0 Southampton
Huddersfield can't find a winner, and were holding on a bit by the end but it's three games, three clean sheets, seven points for the Terriers. Not too shabby.
1649: More late comeback antics in the EFL, Luton scoring twice in the last five minutes to seemingly snaffle an unlikely point at Mansfield.
1647: GOAL! MITROVIC! Newcastle 3-0 West Ham
Huge problems at West Ham. They've been rotten again today, and now trail 3-0 at a team who had lost their first two games of the season. Not good news for Super 6 either, by the looks of it, and nor is a second goal for Reading at Birmingham.
1646: Not been much drama in the Premier League 3pm games, but there's been plenty elsewhere. Walsall have come from 3-0 down to level matters against Bradford. Still time for a winner there as well - only 89 minutes on the clock.
1644: Team news is for Manchester United v Leicester - get the details in our live blog on that one here.
1643: Celtic back on level terms against St Johnstone with 10 minutes to go through Callum McGregor.
1642: Super 6: There are currently two people one goal away from a million quid. One needs a Huddersfield goal, one needs a West Ham goal.
1637: Exeter trailed 2-0 after 12 minutes at Cheltenham. They now lead 3-2 after a Reuben Reid penalty.
1634: GOAL! CLARK! Newcastle 2-0 West Ham
West Ham heading for a third straight defeat, but Newcastle well on course to get off the mark as Ciaran Clark makes it 2-0 at St James' Park.
1631: Bad week for East Anglia with Norwich now 4-0 down at Millwall and Ipswich still 2-0 down against Fulham. Peterborough are winning, though, with Cambridge goalless against Morecambe, who were Nick Hext's best bet of the day in the Sky Bet EFL.
1630: Midway through the second half, and Celtic still trail at home to St Johnstone. Celtic's last domestic home defeat was to Motherwell in 2015.
1626: Not much fun being a Sunderland fan. They're now 3-0 down at Barnsley, and the away fans are streaming for the Oakwell exits.
1625: The 10 men of Watford still doing sterling work to hold off Brighton. Huddersfield still on top against Southampton but can't find a way through.
1624: Great tackle from Mawson on Cabaye to preserve Swansea's two-goal lead at Palace.
1620: Significant and popular Super 6 moment as Reading deservedly take the lead at Birmingham though Bodvarsson.
1615: The wait goes on for the Sporting Life Acca. Fulham two-up at Ipswich.

1606: GOAL! AYEW! Crystal Palace 0-2 Swansea
Jordan Ayew doubles Swansea's lead at Palace. There are big, big problems at Selhurst Park. And for the Soccer Saturday Price Boost, which is now 300/1.
1602: Back under way around the country, apart from at Newcastle where there was a long delay in the first half.
1558: Of the live half-time odds in the Premier League, it's the 5/2 offered about Huddersfield that catches my eye. Not a vintage first half at the John Smith's, but Town were the better side against an out-of-sorts Southampton and have scored in all three of their second halves this season, including last weekend's winner against Newcastle and both goals in a probably-less-relevant come-from-behind Carabao Cup victory over Rotherham.
1554: That wasn't a great first half for the Soccer Saturday Price Boost. Palace are losing, Watford are down to 10 men, and Southampton were second best at Huddersfield. Still a bit surprised to see it currently being dangled at 100/1 in-play, though.
1552: So just the two Premier League goals thus far to go with Britos' thoroughly deserved red card down at Watford.
1551: HT: Newcastle 1-0 West Ham
1549: Still playing at Newcastle. Into a fifth added minute in the first half there.
1548: HT: Crystal Palace 0-1 Swansea, Watford 0-0 Brighton
1547: Cheltenham scored twice in the first 12 minutes of the first half, and have conceded twice in the last six minutes of the first half. Cheltenham 2-2 Exeter in that one now.
1545: HT: Huddersfield 0-0 Southampton

1544: GOAL! ABRAHAM! Crystal Palace 0-1 Swansea
Swansea do now lead at Palace, lovely first-time finish from Tammy Abraham for his first Premier League goal. Palace's woes continue.
1541: Sheffield United double their lead at home against Derby. It's a Johnny Russell own goal, and a ninth straight home win looking on the cards for the Blades in that one.
1540: Celtic are losing! At home! In a league game! St Johnstone the team doing the unthinkable through Steven MacLean.
1538: Close to a deadlock-breaker for Swansea at Selhurst Park, but Alfie Mawson heads wide from Sam Clucas' corner.
1536: The Acca has had a bad 90 seconds. Fulham lead at Ipswich. Gah.

1535: GOAL! JOSELU! Newcastle 1-0 West Ham
First Premier League goal of the afternoon, first Newcastle goal of the season, and it's new boy Joselu who puts them one up against West Ham. No point pretending otherwise, that's bad news for the Acca.
1534: Where goals are coming, they're coming in pairs. Barnsley the latest getting involved in that particular craze with goals in the 31st and 35th minutes against Sunderland.
1532: "None of 'em have scored a goal. None of 'em have looked like scoring a goal," is Merse's verdict on Crystal Palace-Swansea and, quite frankly, it could be extended to most of the other games we're tracking as well.
1531: Do you remember goals? You're probably too young to remember.
1527: SL Acca Watch: 0-0, 0-0, 0-0, 0-0. We'll take it at this stage, frankly.

1524: RED CARD! The Britos Empire has fallen. Straight red for Miguel Britos after jumping into a shocking studs-up challengeon Anthony Knockaert at Vicarage Road, and Watford must play three quarters of the game against Brighton a man light. Can have no complaints. No goals in the Premier League yet, but that's a significant moment for Super 6 and many, many accas. Home win there will have been a popular pick in the multis.
1521: Middlesbrough make up one-quarter of the Sporting Life Acca today. They're currently goalless against Preston, where it's been a decent start but little to choose between the sides.
1517: Two goals in three minutes at the Den, where Millwall race into a 2-0 lead over Norwich. That's also the early scoreline at both Blackpool and Cheltenham.
1511: Still no goal in the 3pm Premier League kick-offs, but plenty of oohs and aahs and should do betters from the Soccer Saturday boys.
1504: First Super 6 goal of the day - so the Golden Goal is the fourth minute. Sheffield United lead Derby 1-0 at Fortress Bramall Lane. Billy Sharp the goalscorer, obviously. The Blades going for a ninth straight home win in that one.
1500: Right, let's do this. Good luck, everyone.
1438: Right. What else have we got... Hexty! How could we forget Hexty?! All sorts of high-quality Sky Bet EFL advice to be found here if you're still deciding where to invest your hard-earned this afternoon.
1427: Most referees would struggle to make a 97th-minute winner all about them. But most referees are not Mike Dean.
1425: ABSOLUTE SCENES AT BOURNEMOUTH.
1423: Absolutely no excuse not to get an entry in for the Soccer Saturday Super 6. It's completely free to enter, takes about 30 seconds, and someone's going to win that million quid off of Jeff sooner or later. Much rather it was one of you lot than some idiot who doesn't even read this blog. Check out these helpful stats first, then get your entry in immediately, you dafties.
1420: All today's team news available by clicking the links above. I will have to insist that you come straight back here, though, because otherwise I'll get lonely and weird.
1415: The Sporting Life Accumulator. Yeah, I know. But one day, it's going to come good. Today genuinely could be the day, and it's a cracking old price this week as well. All for a good cause, as well.
1410: It would be literally crazy to start the afternoon anywhere else than David John's betting tips. His picks can be found here, and come highly recommended.
1400: Welcome. Four more Premier League games to follow at 3pm. Team news, tips, thoughts etc. on the way in due course. I'm particularly looking forward to Newcastle v West Ham, because they are two very silly teams and literally anything could happen. Meanwhile, there's an excellent game still going on at Bournemouth - you can follow the closing stages of that one here.
