Sky Bet EFL predictions from Sky Sports pundit David Prutton

David Prutton returns with his latest round of predictions for this weekend's Sky Bet EFL matches.

Bradford v Bristol Rovers, Saturday 1230 BST - Live on Sky Sports Football

Bradford have lost quite a few players in the summer and it will be interesting to see how well they go on to do this year, especially after getting so close to promotion last year before losing in the play-off final.

Bristol Rovers have put together a little run of wins, but I think it will come to an end this weekend.

Prutton predicts: 2-1 with Dominic Poleon to score first (33/1 with Sky Bet)

Portsmouth v Rotherham, Sunday 1430 BST - Live on Sky Sports Football

Rotherham just haven't settled yet in League One and this will be another tough game on Sunday. Three defeats from their first four games is a really poor return.

No one expected Portsmouth to storm it straight away following promotion, but they've made a decent fist of it under Kenny Jackett and they should be too strong at Fratton Park.

Prutton predicts: 2-1 with Brett Pitman to score first (22/1 with Sky Bet)

Blackpool v AFC Wimbledon, Saturday 1500 BST

Both sides are coming off the back of good wins last week. For Blackpool it's about consolidation after coming up, and anything else would be a bonus. Gary Bowyer is doing a great job there considering all the problems.

AFC Wimbledon will be looking to kick on again from a solid last campaign, but they haven't had the best of starts and I think they'll come unstuck at Bloomfield Road.

Prutton predicts: 2-0 (10/1 with Sky Bet) - this match is part of Saturday's £1million Super 6 round!

Doncaster v Peterborough, Saturday 1500 BST

Peterborough have the only perfect record left in League One and their form has been excellent under Grant McCann.

Doncaster have had a solid start to life back in League One and currently sit 12th, but this should be a Posh victory.

Prutton predicts: 0-2 (18/1 with Sky Bet) - this match is part of Saturday's £1million Super 6 round!

Gillingham v Shrewsbury, Saturday 1500 BST

From the starts they've both made this seems like a no-brainer! But it's still too early days to be worrying about their position in the table and I think Gillingham can only get better.

There's generally a few goals when Shrewsbury are involved and I fancy an entertaining draw here.

Prutton predicts: 2-2 (12/1 with Sky Bet) - this match is part of Saturday's £1million Super 6 round!

Oldham v Charlton, Saturday 1500 BST

Charlton have had a great start to the season and expectation levels are slowly rising under Karl Robinson - who was great value when he joined me on EFL Matters last week!

Oldham have had a disastrous start, meanwhile, losing all four games and I can't see anything but an away win.

Prutton predicts: 0-1 (5/1 with Sky Bet) - this match is part of Saturday's £1million Super 6 round!

Exeter v Newport, Saturday 1500 BST

First versus second in Sky Bet League Two! Exeter and Newport have both started the season in rude health and both scored four goals last week.

Both had very different campaigns last season, with Paul Tisdale's Exeter beaten in the play-off final and Newport just about surviving on the final day. I fancy a home win.

Prutton predicts: 2-0 (11/1 with Sky Bet)

Chesterfield v Coventry, Saturday 1500 BST

Coventry got off to a great start in winning their first two this season, but have tailed off a little bit to bring an end to that initial optimism.

Chesterfield, meanwhile, are propping up the entire Football League, and that can't be the most inspiring place to be. They're another side who haven't adjusted to life at a lower level yet, and it could be a long old season for them.

Prutton predicts: 1-2 (8/1 with Sky Bet)
