Philippe Coutinho: Ex-Liverpool midfielder 'definitely looking' at Premier League return, says agent

Philippe Coutinho is "definitely looking" to return to the Premier League when the transfer window reopens, says his agent Kia Joorabchian.

The Barcelona midfielder, 27, is currently nearing the end of a season-long loan at Bayern Munich.

Coutinho struggled to make an impact during 18 months at Camp Nou following his £142m transfer from Liverpool in January 2018, resulting in his loan move to the Bundesliga last summer.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Newcastle and Tottenham are among the teams that have been linked with signing the Brazil international when the transfer window re-opens.

  • Newcastle - 15/2
  • Arsenal - 8/1
  • Man Utd - 11/1
  • Tottenham - 12/1

"We’re still waiting until the season finishes before we start talking about anything in terms of transfers," Joorabchian told talkSPORT.

"I’ve always said that he loves to play in the Premier League.

"He enjoyed his time very much and if the opportunity arises to come back to the Premier League, whether it be this year or in the future, he’s definitely looking at that."
