Barcelona will sell the naming rights to the Nou Camp for one season and donate all proceeds to helping fight the coronavirus.
The Catalan team's iconic stadium has never had a sponsor since it opened in 1957.
The Barca Foundation, the club's official charity, has now been tasked with finding one for the 2020-21 campaign.
Spain is one of the countries that has been most affected by the coronavirus pandemic, with more than 20,000 deaths - only the USA and Italy have thus far experienced a higher death toll.
"Revenue will be used to fund research projects and the worldwide fight against the pandemic," read a club statement.
"FC Barcelona and the Barca Foundation consider it a necessity that at this time of humanitarian crisis, the institution should use all its resources to fight against the coronavirus pandemic and its consequences."
Barca played in blank shirts, other than the kit manufacturer's emblem, until 2006 when children's charity Unicef began a four-year stint on the front of their jersey.
Since 2010 they have had a lucrative kit sponsorship deal with the Qatar Foundation.
