Price Boosts - Hit or Miss?
13.50 Wetherby – Gold Stick
HIT - Son of Dubawi representing John Gosden at Wetherby so plenty to like on that basis, while his debut fifth at Newbury recent has already worked out quite well.
15.10 Fakenham – Chaparral Prince (Feature Boost)
MISS - Sets the standard on official figures but had plenty of chances now and perhaps isn't the most robust character when it comes to getting into a battle.
17.05 Ayr - Biblical
HIT - Went close to winning first time up for previous yard and now starts out for new trainer with obvious claims if building on debut run.
17.20 Exeter – Giving Back
MISS - Yet to be seen jumping hurdles in public and looks a skinny price on the face of it against a promising type in Bossiney Bay.
19.30 Wolverhampton - Badenscoth
HIT - Easy in the market this morning but clearly in great form and still a chance we've yet to see the best of him. Good draw under in-form Franny Norton.
20.10 Ballinrobe – Global Jackpot
HIT - Made bright start to life over fences and with a hurdles mark of 141, he's surely going to take the world of beating in this modest company.
Trader Tip
Ocala (15.55 Wetherby)
Andrew Balding's filly looks well handicapped on her Newmarket maiden form behind Sheikha Reika, who subsequently won a Group 1 and is now rated 113. Behind Ocala that day was Maid Up who is a Group 3 winner and now rated 105 so the form stacks up very strongly. Ocala can be forgiven a poor reappearance as she may have needed the run after 349 days off and is expected to defy a lowly mark of just 77.
