Our columnist Richard Fahey goes through his runners at Royal Ascot on Wednesday and he has a strong hand in the closing Windsor Castle Stakes.

Royal Ascot, WEDNESDAY, June 19
Mighty Spirit - Queen Mary, 2.30
She’s yet to win in two starts but she hasn’t done much wrong at all. Her second place in the Marygate is good form. She’s game and tries very hard so those traits should help her in a race like this. She was a bit slowly away on her first two goes, but I think this stiff five furlongs will suit her well. It’ll be slower ground than that she encountered at York, as well, and, being by Acclamation, that could well suit her.
Flaming Princess – Queen Mary, 2.30
By Hot Streak and she’s a little pocket rocket. Very genuine, lots of speed, she needs to show more than she did when winning at Nottingham on debut but she could do. She knows her job very well and she’s quick.
Summer Sands - Windsor Castle, 5.35
He’s a big, scopey horse and he did well to win the Brian Yeardley at Beverley the other day after finishing third at York on debut. If he’s recovered from that he can go well, he’s only been doing a bit of light cantering since. I can’t knock him, I’m pleased with him and he could run a big race.
Dylan De Vega – Windsor Castle, 5.35
He's a hardy two-year-old that’s as tough as nails. He’s improving the more he does and, though he needs to find more, it wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if he did. He won very nicely at Beverley after starting out at Nottingham and he learnt a lot. He’s got natural speed.
Show Me Show Me – Windsor Castle, 5.35
He hasn’t progressed after winning the Brocklesby but he has been holding his form quite well. We stepped him up to six furlongs at Pontefract last time and he drops back here, which could help, as could the easier ground. He needs to bounce back, though.
