Anita Chambers makes Cleonte her best bet on Friday and she has a tip for every race in the UK and Ireland.
NAP: CLEONTE 3.35 Chester
Kachy declared a Non-Runner on Friday morning...
Cleonte can make his class tell in another thoroughly competitive renewal of the Sportpesa Chester Cup on the Roodee.
The six-year-old was good enough to win at Listed level and be placed in Group Three company when trained by Andre Fabre in France, but he has not really hit the same kind of heights since joining Andrew Balding.
However, victory at last year's Shergar Cup meeting seems to have marked a turnaround in his fortunes, with a creditable third in the Cesarewitch following last autumn.
He found the National Hunt runners too strong that day, but his length-and-a-half defeat saw his rating pushed up to 101, which prompted Balding to pitch him into the Sagaro Stakes at Ascot last week on his return.
While Cleonte was no match for the impressive Dee Ex Bee, he stayed on well into third, which represented a fine effort indeed given he was rated 11lb inferior to the winner and had to concede 1lb into the bargain.
His adjusted rating technically puts him 4lb well in here and with the switch to two and a quarter miles looking likely suit, he could put up a bold show, even with the quick turnaround.
Forest Ranger is expected to put up a staunch defence of his crown in the Homeserve Huxley Stakes.
Richard Fahey's admirable performer enjoyed a flying start to last season - landing the Earl of Sefton Stakes at Newmarket before running out an authoritative winner of this 10-furlong Group Two.
He struggled when stepped up to Group One company in the Coral-Eclipse at Sandown, while an ambitious trips to Korea and Dubai have also proved fruitless since.
However, his runner-up finish behind the exciting Zabeel Prince when bidding for back-to-back wins in the Earl of Sefton last month proved he remains a force at this level and he looks sure to make his presence felt again on a track that clearly suits.
Habub is two from two so far and if his Diamond Jubilee Stakes entry is to come to anything, he really should be winning at Ascot for Owen Burrows.
The four-year-old was a clear-cut winner on his only start last term before making a splash with a five-length win on his reappearance in a novice heat at Lingfield last month.
That was only a modest event, but he was giving chunks of weight to the second and should be up to the task in the Montfort Handicap.
Aktau defied his 20-1 starting price when third on his debut and would not need to find too much more to the win Castle Rock Session Novice Stakes at Nottingham.
A bit keen on his racecourse bow, Roger Varian's charge kept on well at the finish and is one on the upgrade.
Acclaim The Nation is the pick in Ripon's Lets All "Go Racing In Yorkshire" Handicap, while Howardian Hills can strike for Victor Dartnall in the Follow@Myracingtips On Twitter Handicap at Wolverhampton.
