With no opens on Tuesday's menu, the focus is on Sheffield's morning card and there is a lot to like about Mustang Chanel (T2) at 12.42.

Barrie Draper's youngster took a hefty bump out of the boxes on her debut in an A4 but showed plenty of pace thereafter and only weakened out of contention late on. The September '22 puppy should have learned plenty from that introduction and, with improvement expected, she has a good chance to get clear beyond recall now dropped into an A5.

Idas Spider (T2) is another improving sort and he could take some catching in the A5 at 11.34.

An impressive A6 winner two starts ago, he had to work to get to the front after a slow start in this grade last week and then had his back legs taken at the third bend. However, in a race full of strong sorts, the lightly-raced puppy looks sure to get loose today and he could be tricky to reel in if given too much rope.

Pint Of Apples (T4) displayed some promising signs when third in that same race as Idas Spider a week ago and he is fancied to build on that at 1.17.

The September '22 whelp fluffed the start and encountered early traffic problems on that debut outing but kept on well for third and should have much more to offer now.
