Nakeeta – Sky Bet Ebor Handicap 3.40 York
It’s 95 years since a horse won back-to-back renewals of the Sky Bet Ebor but Iain Jardine’s NAKEETA could well join the exclusive club at York on Saturday. He’s only 4lb higher than when winning the race last year and he looks to be peaking at the right time again following an encouraging run at Newbury last time. He gets a 7lb pull with Stratum for less than a four-length defeat and, back on the Knavesmire, he can reverse that form and etch himself into Ebor folklore.
Mountain Bell each-way - Sky Bet Ebor Handicap 3.40 York
Mountain Bell is a sure stayer and could run well at a big price under 5lb claimer Andrew Breslin. Ralph Beckett’s mare won at listed level two season’s ago and has since run well in a couple of Group races. Off the track for a couple of months but best when fresh, none of her races have been run to suit Mountain Bell so far this season whereas the likely strong gallop here could see her making strong late gains over what could prove her ideal trip.
Matt Brocklebank
The well-regarded Frankel gelding Atty Persse can return to winning ways on the July Course. He’s put in two highly promising efforts since returning from his winter break and his form from Ascot last time looks strong. He’s up in the weights again but moving up in trip can counter that and there should still be more to come given trainer Roger Charlton’s string have taken a while to catch fire so far this term.

Arsenal v West Ham (Saturday, 1500 BST)
While both clubs have yet to win, Arsenal can take plenty of postives from areas of their performances against Chelsa and Manchester City. Meanwhile after a summer of change, West Ham still need time to gel, as defeats to Liverpool and Bournemouth suggest. Arsenal's expected goals tally for the season (2.65 from open play) shows their creativity is there and with the likes of Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Mesut Ozil supplying, goals will come.
Arsenal to win and BTTS at 17/10
Liverpool v Brighton (Saturday, 1730 BST)
Sadio Mane has arguably been in the best form of Liverpool's terrifying trio so far this season, netting in both games and looking a bit sharper than Salah and Firmino. There's no reason he can't make it three in a row in this one, against a Brighton side that had the worst away record in the Premier League last term.
Sadio Mane to score in 90 minutes at 11/10
QPR v Wigan (Saturday, 1500 BST)
Despite QPR's dismal season start their first-half performances offer a slight bit of encouragement. They've been level at the break against Preston, Sheffield United and West Brom before going on to lose all three. Wigan are full of confidence after beating another struggling side in Stoke 3-0 in midweek.
Draw/Wigan in half-time/full-time at 5/1
Aston Villa remain unbeaten and got good point in midweek against Brentford. Reading threw away a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 at Blackburn and are still yet to win.
League One Leaders Peterborough are one of only two clubs left in the Sky Bet EFL with 100% winning starts, while Plymouth are yet to earn a victory.
Carlisle are in the top seven after two wins from four, Crewe were hammered 6-0 by Colchester in midweek and are without a win in three.
Mansfield are yet to be beaten this season, and have only conceded three goals in their opening four games. Macclesfield have just a single point to their name so far.
Aston Villa, Peterborough, Carlisle and Mansfield all to win at 16/1 with Sky Bet

T20 Blast Quarter-Finals - Worcestershire v Gloucestershire (Saturday, 1500 BST)
Michael Klinger is proven to be a rock in Gloucestershire's side - he currently tops their run charts in this competition with 407 runs at 37.00 - and as ever, it is his consistency and coolness under pressure that has set him apart from the rest. He is usually happy to let his more aggressive colleagues take the risks while he looks to anchor the innings and as a result, 13/5 about him obliging in the top Gloucestershire runscorer market is very appealing. In fact, Klinger has obliged in this market in each of Gloucestershire's last two matches.
