We look back at a stunning Tottenham comeback, and Lucas Moura hat-trick, that shocked Ajax and secured a place in the 2019 Champions League final.
Such was the drama at Anfield the night previous, when Liverpool beat the odds to overturn a 3-0 first-leg deficit and knock out Barcelona, it's easy to forget Spurs' extraordinary late show in the Amsterdam Arena.
But their fightback was arguably more impressive, more incredulous and certainly more dramatic.
A mound, to a hill, to a mountain
Tottenham went in to the second leg with a daunting challenge ahead of them, but one that was far from insurmountable.
Furthermore, the blow of a 1-0 home defeat was softened by the return of Son Heung-min from suspension, whose absence along with the still injured Harry Kane was keenly felt in that first leg.
But within five minutes the deficit was doubled by a Matthijs de Ligt header, and half an hour later Hakim Ziyech's sweeping strike had Ajax cruising towards the final.
Half-time inspiration?
With 45 minutes to save their season, Spurs' injured talisman Kane joined his team-mates in the dressing room and gave an impassioned speech that Danny Rose and Kieran Trippier have since said made all the difference.
Kane himself has played down any role he had, saying he basically told the players "just give it everything" and that was it.
I'm not sure whether Harry's speech had anything to do with Mauricio Pochettino's half-time changes, but the Tottenham boss really did give it everything.
Vincent Wanyama was replaced by Fernando Llorente to give the attack a focal point, freeing up Son and Lucas Moura to play supporting roles.
But Lucas' performance over the next 45 minutes undoubtedly put him in the leading man category.
Hat-trick hero
The Brazilian ignited the tie through two moments just before the hour mark, first stroking home and then firing in on the turn after Llorente's initial shot had been saved.
In just 14 minutes, Spurs had gone from total despair to just a goal from the Champions League final.
Half an hour of chaos ensued as both sides frantically tried to wrestle control of a match now devoid of any kind of structure.
Tottenham's chance looked to have gone when Jan Vertonghen headed against the cross bar from inside the six-yard box, but the crowning, dramatic moment came with 95 minutes on the clock.
A third clinical finish from Lucas sent the Spurs fans, players, and iconically their manager, into delirium.
And with it the Brazilian became just the fifth player to score a Champions League semi-final hat-trick.
Some achievement right? Not enough to keep his place for the final in Madrid, as fit-again Kane returned in his place before a meek Tottenham showing saw them anticlimactically brushed aside by Liverpool.
But I suppose they'll always have Amsterdam.
