Former Real Madrid midfielder Samuel Saiz joins Leeds

Leeds' busy summer under new boss Thomas Christiansen has continued after they completed the signing of former Real Madrid youth midfielder Samuel Saiz.

Saiz, 26, has penned a four-year deal at Elland Road after the Whites agreed an undisclosed fee with Spanish second-tier outfit SD Huesca.

Saiz only featured for Real's B and C teams, and went on to play for Getafe and Atletico Madrid's B teams before moving to Huesca.

He is Leeds' eighth signing of the summer and joins the likes of Vurnon Anita, Madger Gomes and Mateusz Klich in moving to Yorkshire.

The club announced their ninth addition of the close season on Thursday afternoon, with Macedonia international Ezgjan Alioski becoming the latest player to pen a four-year contract.

The 25-year-old joins for an undisclosed fee after scoring 17 goals in 36 appearances in his first full campaign with Swiss club FC Lugano.

Alioski will travel with the rest of the Leeds squad to Austria on Friday for their pre-season tour.
