Wales' record tryscoring winger Rhys Williams scored a hat-trick to keep alive their hopes of automatic qualification for the 2021 World Cup with a 50-12 rout of Scotland in the European Championship at Gala.
Beaten 54-18 by France in the opening match of their European title defence in Carcassonne, the visitors looked in trouble when they trailed 12-0 after eight minutes after winger Davey Dixon and forward James Bell scored tries - both converted by Ryan Brierley - to give the Bravehearts a flying start.
However, John Kear's men struck back twice before half-time to cut the deficit to 12-8 and went on to dominate the second half as they scored nine unanswered tries to leave Scotland's co-coaches Chris Chester and John Duffy still looking for their first win.
Debutant Elliott Jenkins and half-back Josh Ralph both scored two tries apiece and others came from Chester Butler and Ben Evans, with James Olds kicking seven goals from nine attempts.
