Defied top weight in the Cambridgeshire in September and got off the mark for this season in a listed event here (1¼m) in May. Remained in good form since, latest when creditable second of 7 in conditions stakes over longer trip at this course 29 days ago. Likely contender.
Proved consistent in handicap company this season, shaping as if still in good form when fourth at Ascot (1m, good to firm) latest. Likely to find this company too hot, though.
Smart performer in France, winning 4 times in 2024. Looked rusty, back from 17 months off, when last of 7 in listed race at Saint-Cloud (1m, soft) on yard debut in March and not seen since.
Gained a first success for present stable when landing a listed race (1¼m) at this course last September and stepped forward from this season's return when denied close home in another listed event here in May. Not disgraced at Ascot since but suspicion he may find this trip on the sharp side,
Course specialist who caused a huge upset in Sussex Stakes last term and got back to winning ways in 7f York Group 3 in June. Below best in this year's Sussex last time but must enter calculations here.
Has returned an improved performer this year, supplementing his French listed success in Diomed at Epsom. Underperformed in Sussex Stakes latest but in slightly calmer waters now and merits consideration.
Hold-up mare who was left with too much to do when a below-par third in 1m Pontefract listed event last month and was never involved at Ascot last time. Something to prove at present.
Lightly-raced 4-y-o who resumed with a career-best win in listed event at Kempton in March and got back to that sort of form when fifth of 8 in Valiant Fillies' Stakes at Ascot (1m, good to firm) 35 days ago. More needed to take a hand here, however.
Confirmed himself one of the leading juveniles when edging out Gstaad in Group 1 National Stakes last September. Back to best when good fifth in Sussex Stakes over C&D last month and may have found trip on sharp side when fifth of 14 in City of York Stakes last week. Likely player.

Forecasts
Zavateri (2/1), Boiling Point (7/2), Seagulls Eleven (7/2), Qirat (5/1), Naqeeb (10/1), Ebt's Guard (25/1), Arisaig (25/1), Pina Sonata (25/1), Fast Tracker (33/1)
Sole 3-y-o ZAVATERI has had a relatively light season and shaped as if the step back up to this trip would suit when fifth at York last week. He could be the answer here. Boiling Point rarely runs a bad race and looks sure to make his presence felt, whilst Seagulls Eleven is much better than he showed here last time and is also respected.
