Dual winner at around this trip in 2025 who has found the run of the race against him of late but came home to good effect in first-time cheekpieces when third of 7 in handicap at Chester 4 weeks ago, finishing with running left. One to consider from reduced mark down in grade.
Won on all-weather at Newcastle (12.5f) and Southwell (2m) in the spring and probably worth forgiving a lesser run in a competitive class 2 back at Newcastle in June. Drops back in distance returned to turf and this rates more suitable.
Ended losing run dating back to 2023 when a smooth winner at Carlisle (11f) in July. Creditable mid-field efforts both starts over 2m at York followed last month and expected to give another good account down in class/trip.
Improving son of Calyx who did well under the circumstances when making second handicap start a winning one at Wolverhampton (1½m) 12 days ago, quickening to lead dying strides. 5 lb higher back on turf but there's more races to be won with him on that evidence.
Found a little more improvement when doubling her tally over 1¼m at Salisbury in May and back to that sort of form when second at Lingfield (9f) in June. Lesser effort when fourth back at first-named venue latest but eased 2 lb. Stamina to prove.
Heavy-ground novice winner at Ayr (1m) last October. Struggled to land a meaningful blow on first 3 starts in handicaps this year but after 6 weeks off/gelding operation, got back on track from falling mark when second of 4 in handicap at Thirsk (1½m, good) 4 weeks ago. Still unexposed at this trip.
Much improved when opening account in 9f Carlisle handicap (soft) in June. Reverted to free-going ways when sixth of 13 at Ayr (1¼m) 3 weeks ago and a stronger gallop will see him to better effect now tackling this longer trip.
Mohaather filly who fared better than previously when eighth of 13 on handicap debut at Southwell (1m) 33 days ago, unable to find a change of gear late on. Bred to stay well (out of a 1½m-16.5f winner) so this significant increase in trip could well see her in a better light.

PRINCE OF CALYPSO did well under the circumstances when opening his account over this trip at Wolverhampton 12 days ago, quickening well to lead dying strides. He could have more to offer and earns the vote to follow up from a 5 lb higher mark, with class-dropping L'Eagle Aid firmly expected to give Ed Bethell's 3-y-o plenty to think about. Northern Brave and Valley of Flowers are others worth a look.
