L'Eagle Aid has already posted several good efforts here this season and can go well again, with Charmaine taken to complete the 1-2-3.
CALICO BLUE - 15:20 Chester
A listed sprint now restricted to 3-y-os and CALICO BLUE gets the verdict to maintain his unbeaten course record. Jazl has done little wrong this season and should be in the mix, with Group 2 winner Lifeplan another to consider despite his long absence.
BLOOD DESTINY - 15:30 Galway
BLOOD DESTINY tends to operate at a higher level and, though he hasn’t shown much in handicaps previously, his class should count for plenty in a race of this nature. He gets the vote, with Le Nez Creux feared most after an encouraging stable debut at Ayr and Drumgill also respected from a good mark.
PIERRE ROYAL - 16:00 Galway
The form of Tuesday's BMW Mile handicap looks key. PIERRE ROYAL is still unexposed and can turn the tables with Orandi from that contest, better drawn and better off at the weights with that rival this time. Orandi is a big player himself despite a wide stall, with top-weight Jagged Edge, who was perhaps unlucky in third, also considered.
THE UBERMENSCH - 16:38 Yarmouth
THE UBERMENSCH confirmed previous promise and was value for extra when opening his account over further at this course 31 days ago and a token 2 lb rise should see Michael Bell's 4-y-o tough to beat again with Billy Loughnane aboard. Nuptown Girl heads up the dangers.
