A high draw over the straight mile at Yarmouth isn't such a bad thing and it could be worth chancing DREAMROCKER from stall 12. The filly stepped up on her debut run at Chelmsford last summer to win a novice event over seven furlongs at Salisbury and although beaten four lengths off a mark of 75 on handicap debut back on the all-weather when last seen in October, she's bred to improve with age. Ed Walker trained the half-sister Dreamloper too - a Group 1 winner aged five - and while Dreamrocker doesn't look like following in those illustrious hoofprints, she's got a good attitude and should have plenty more to offer this season.
Course regular Cloudy Rose has to be respected but preference is for CHINHURST who doesn't look harshly treated, up just 2lb for his 10 furlongs victory on good ground here earlier in the month. The son of Nathaniel is perfectly happy on a softer surface too, while it's hard to imagine the return to this longer distance proving as issue as he has placed form over 12 furlongs at Epsom last year too.
COLD HENRY has had a little break since ending his all-weather winter campaign on a bit of a low note at Southwell in February and it's encouraging to see him back here at Catterick where his form figures are very encouraging (11334). He's back on a good mark too, rated just 4lb higher than when last successful and on the same mark as when beaten a head at Southwell last summer. Soft ground suits him well and the in-form Joanna Mason is back on the saddle which looks another plus.
