Latest racing weather and inspection news

Beverley have had to abandon Wednesday's scheduled meeting due to a waterlogged track.

The East Yorkshire course was described as "heavy but raceable" on Monday morning but it has been hit by further downpours through the day and a 3pm precautionary inspection left officials with no choice.

Beverley stated on X: "Following a further 5mm of rainfall since 8am, one area of the track remains waterlogged. With further rain forecast tomorrow and Wednesday, there is sadly little hope of the area recovering to allow racing to safely go ahead on Wednesday."

Monday's meeting at Redcar was also abandoned on the morning of racing due to waterlogging.

Course officials at Redcar reported standing water and unstable ground due to heavy downpours in a short space of time.
