We said before his Exeter sixth that we expected DESSIE HAZE to be winning at the likes of Chepstow and Ffos Las and sure enough, he landed a nice touch for us at Chepstow last time. Now we take him to follow up at Ffos Las and make us look like geniuses, or something...
We’d given warning a win was on the way as like so many of his family he just needed plenty of time, and whilst some might think his defeat of the long odds-on The Italian Fox was a fluke, we don’t think so, and a 6lb rise looks more than fair. He’s already shown he acts around Ffos Las when fourth here last year, and we think he can win again before the handicapper starts to get anything like a grip on him.
