Three legends, with a total of 1,677 appearances between them for their current club, bid farewell at the weekend.

Gianluigi Buffon's long and successful era between the sticks for Juventus is over after 17 years, with the 40-year-old goalkeeper due to decide his next steps in the coming months.

Fernando Torres' second and final spell at Atletico Madrid ended in style as he scored two goals at the Wanda Metropolitano, while Andres Iniesta bid an emotional goodbye to a packed out Camp Nou.

The Spain and Barcelona legend lifted the La Liga trophy in front of his team-mates and handed the captain's armband over to Lionel Messi to signal a new era without their homegrown midfield talisman.
