Manchester City won their third Premier League title on Sunday as bitter rivals Manchester United fell to a shock defeat to West Brom.
Pep Guardiola's men bounced back from a torrid week that saw them crash out of the Champions League by securing victory over Tottenham at Wembley.
Jay Rodriguez scored the only goal of the game as United were beaten by the bottom club West Brom, three points that not only helped them in their quest for an unlikely survival, but also ensured Manchester was blue for another year.

Saturday 26th August 2017: Manchester City looked set for a point away at Bournemouth after Gabriel Jesus cancelled out Charlie Daniels' strike early on. Raheem Sterling popped up with a late strike in the 97th minute, and was shown a red card for his celebrations.
Saturday 9th September 2017: A week after late drama at the Vitality Stadium, City ran riot at home to Liverpool. Sergio Aguero's early goal, combined with braces from Gabriel Jesus and Leroy Sane, helped them wrap up the points in emphatic fashion.
Saturday 16th September 2017: Six days later, City would hammer in more goals. An Aguero hat-trick stole the headlines as Guardiola's side comfortably beat Watford 6-0 at Vicarage Road.
Saturday 30th September 2017: City would travel to face Chelsea and wrapped up their fantastic September with another three points. Kevin De Bruyne scored the only goal of the game with 67 minutes on the clock.
Saturday 14th October 2017: Two weeks after a huge win over Chelsea, City would hit seven past helpless Stoke City at the Etihad. Six different goalscorers contributed and Stoke's two strikes either side of half-time counted for little on the day.
Sunday 26th November 2017: Teams had began to adopt a defensive model against City and they endured a frustrating afternoon at the John Smith's Stadium. Huddersfield struck from a corner just before half-time but second-half goals from Aguero and Sterling meant that the Terriers left empty-handed, despite their best efforts.
Wednesday 29th November 2017: Just days after their trip to West Yorkshire, City found themselves frustrated once again, this time by Southampton. However, Sterling was on-hand to strike late for the second consecutive game to the delight of the home support.
Sunday 10th December 2017: It was derby day delight for City at Old Trafford as they picked up all three points against their rivals. Marcus Rashford had cancelled out David Silva's strike in the first-half before Nicolas Otamendi popped up with the winner under ten minutes into the second-half.
Saturday 16th December 2017: Under a week after victory over United, City would hammer Tottenham at the Etihad. Ilkay Gundogan scored early, before De Bruyne effort and a Sterling double late-on ensured the points in an impressive performance.
Sunday 31st December 2017: Much to the surprise of many, City struggled away at Crystal Palace. They were unbeaten to this point, and that record seemed under-threat when the home side were handed a penalty in the dying moments. Ederson was the hero as he saved Luka Milivojevic's effort.
Sunday 14th January 2018: City's unbeaten record came to an end in a seven-goal thriller at Anfield. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlian, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah were all on the scoresheet and a late rally wasn't enough as Jurgen Klopp's side wrapped up the points.
Saturday 10th February: City would hit five once again when they welcomed Leicester City in mid-February. Aguero scored four past a helpless Leicester defence in a easy victory in Manchester.
Sunday 25th February: The first bit of silverware of the season was wrapped up at the end of February when City beat Arsenal at Wembley. Aguero, Silva and Vincent Kompany struck on their way to lifting the Carabao Cup.
Thursday 1st March: Days after meeting at Wembley, City beat Arsenal once again by a scoreline of 3-0 at the Emirates. Three goals in 33 minutes left Arsene Wenger's men stunned and City in firm control.
Sunday 4th March: Shortly after beating Arsenal, City secured the double over Chelsea. Bernando Silva's second-half strike was the only goal of the game and City moved further clear at the top of the Premier League standings.
Saturday 31st March: It would be another impressive first-half performance, this time at Goodison Park. Sane, Jesus and Sterling all scored in 37 minutes to confirm another win for Guardiola's side.
Saturday 7th April: The stage was set for an historic Premier League title win on April 7. City welcomed local rivals United and a win would grant them the trophy. They lead 2-0 at half-time, but Paul Pogba and Chris Smalling were on target to leave the home crowd stunned and City empty-handed, for the time being.
Saturday 14th April: They would bounce back from a week that saw Champions League elimination and derby day defeat by beating Tottenham at Wembley. The result meant that they needed an unlikely win for West Brom over Manchester United to wrap up the title that weekend.

Sunday 15th April: Against all the odds, bottom of the league West Brom did it. Jay Rodriguez scored the only goal of the game in a 1-0 win at Old Trafford. United embarassed, City champions.
