Virtual Grand National: Win Cheltenham tickets and help raise funds for NHS

During Virtual Grand National week sportinglife.com are raising money for the NHS Charities COVID-19 urgent appeal – and by joining in you could win a pair of tickets to the opening day of next year’s Cheltenham Festival.

As managing editor Gareth Jones explained in his letter onsite earlier in the week, this vital appeal raises money for the care of NHS staff and volunteers, including providing personal protective equipment, food, hotel accommodation, and travel.

Profits many bookmakers generate from Saturday’s race will be donated to this tremendous cause – and you can also contribute via our VGN Hall Of Fame.

All we ask is you make a donation via this link then select a horse for Saturday’s race.

Once you have donated and have made your selection either email it to editorial@sportinglife.com with the subject “donation tip”, tweet it to @sportinglife with the hashtag #SLforNHS or add it as a comment underneath the story on our new Facebook Racing Community Page.

The closing date is 5pm on Saturday. Your name will appear underneath your selection on our Hall Of Fame page and at 9am on Monday all the tipsters from there who found the winner will be placed into a random draw. The first three names drawn out win two club badges each for the Unibet Champion Hurdle day at Cheltenham on Tuesday March 16, 2021.
