HALFTHEWORLDAWAY has been steadily progressive over hurdles and may be able to follow up last month's course victory. Roses All The Way arrives in good form and rates the chief threat, whilst Highland Haven is also of interest back from a break.
KAHAVARI - 15:50 Bangor
Preference is for KAHAVARI, who matched his best form for current connections when runner-up at Carlisle earlier this month and remains fairly treated. Busty Boy and Bleu d'Enfer can also make their presence felt.
FINGAL'S HILL - 16:00 Newcastle
In a contest where few arrive with compelling claims perhaps FINGAL'S HILL can land this race for the second-year running. Smokeringinthedark had heavy ground as a possible excuse at Doncaster last time and might provide the main threat. Bold Light is on a good mark if bouncing back to form.
DARK ANGEL STAR - 19:30 Wolverhampton
DARK ANGEL STAR made good progress on all-weather in the autumn and gets a narrow vote ahead of Simplify, who looks to be on a good opening handicap mark but the outside stall has the potential to make life awkward. The Lost Sock's reappearance was too bad to be true and he could easily prove a different proposition now.
