Free-to-play ITV7 preview and tips from Dave Smith

There's £50,000 on offer in this weekend's free-to-play ITV7 and Dave Smith has the guide you need for the crucial races.

14:05 Market Rasen - MansionBet Handicap Hurdle (GBB Race) - 2m 125y

If EDWARDSTONE can settle a bit better than his last two runs he has to be hugely respected back in this grade. He was a creditable fifth in The Greatwood at Cheltenham in November, but did unseat last time. Jockey bookings suggest Langer Dan is still too high in the handicap, though he was a fine sixth in The Fred Winter in March and is a danger.

14:15 Fairyhouse - Dan & Joan Moore Memorial Handicap Chase (Grade A) - 2m 1f

FAN DE BLUES has a competitive mark and can make use of it in what looks a compelling handicap. He has the help of a hood and switches back to chasing after a heavy loss last time. Chatham Street Lad still looks on the right side of the handicapper and The Shunter won well in Cheltenham but may just be pipped by Arvico Bleu for a place.

14:25 Warwick - Ballymore Leamington Novices' Hurdle (Grade 2) (GBB Race) - 2m 5f

MAKE ME A BELIEVER ran a superb time at Cheltenham after looking to have bumped into one on his penultimate start. He can back this up here, stepping up in trip, ahead of Midnight River and Jay Bee Why who both look on the upgrade.

14:40 Market Rasen - MansionBet's Bet 10 Get 20 Hurdle (GBB Race) - 2m 7f 16y

Only McFabulous denied ON THE BLIND SIDE in a Grade 2 at Kempton last week. He should have too much for his rivals in here as long as he doesn't give too much rope to Lil Rockerfeller up front. The selection is in great form and can land this for the Henderson team.

15:00 Warwick - McCoy Contractors Civil Engineering Classic Handicap Chase (Grade 3) - 3m 5f 54y

Connections have made encouraging noises regarding NOTACHANCE and the step up in trip should enhance his potential further. He won in Wales after a long break from the track with a sound round of jumping. Walk in the Mill may benefit from blinkers whilst Captain Chaos looks to have eased to a more realistic mark.

15:15 Market Rasen - Alan Swinbank Mares' Standard Open NH Flat Race (Listed) (GBB Race) - 2m 125y

GRANGEE must be highly thought of by the Mullins' team for them to send him over to the UK. The trainer took this last year with a decent type and he can repeat the feat ahead of Pam Sly's Eileendover who has a strong flat pedigree.

15:35 Warwick - Pertemps Network Handicap Hurdle - 3m 1f

FLEMCARA has shown he's back to form on his last two starts. He'll be comfortable on both this ground and in this class so rates as a solid selection. Potters Corner ran a fine race over the Cross Country obstacles at Cheltenham and looks a worthy rival whilst Come on Teddy may be able to shoulder a 7lb rise in the weights.
