F1 Insider: Abu Dhabi Grand Prix tips plus race, track and TV guide

The F1 Insider signs off for the season with an each-way bet in the race market plus support for "arguably the season's most impressive driver outside the big three teams".

Valtteri Bottas to win (each-way) at 13/2

Bottas won this race last year at a relative canter and with both championships decided the way may be clear once again for the Finn to get the better of team-mate Lewis Hamilton. Hamilton can be forgiven for taking his foot off the pedal somewhat after a gruelling year in which he has barely put a wheel out of place, while question marks over the condition of his engine after his nervy win in Brazil should also be enough to put backers off the five-time champion. Bottas should lack for neither competitive machinery nor motivation and looks a fair price to battle with Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel for valedictory honours at the season's climax in Abu Dhabi. Between the two, the Finn looks the value at an each-way price of 13/2.

Nico Hulkenberg to finish in the top six at 100/30

Hulkenberg has arguably been the season's most impressive driver outside the big three teams of Mercedes, Ferrari and Red Bull and the German can lay down a marker at Renault ahead of the big-money arrival of Daniel Ricciardo in the close season. Hulkenberg has finished more races as "best of the rest" than anyone else this year, with two perfect examples coming with sixth places in Austin and Mexico City ahead of an unfortunate retirement in Brazil last time out. Hulkenberg can consolidate his comfortable seventh-placed finish in the drivers' championship by taking what would be a sixth top-six finish in the 15 races in which he has seen the chequered flag.
