Cristiano Ronaldo has completed his blockbuster move from Real Madrid to Juventus in a deal worth around £105m.
The move could be the catalyst for some major transfer activity around Europe now, with Real Madrid needing to fill the huge void left by Ronaldo while Juventus may have to offload some of their attacking talent to make room.
Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes and Real president Florentino Perez met to agree that the five-time Ballon d’Or winner can leave Santiago Bernabeu this summer.

At the same time, Juventus president Andrea Agnelli flew to Greece to visit with Ronaldo and conclude personal terms that will bring his glittering career in the Spanish capital to an end.
Soon after, Real Madrid announced the huge move, saying: "Real Madrid CF communicates that, in response to the will and request expressed by the player Cristiano Ronaldo, he has agreed to transfer to Juventus FC.
"Today, Real Madrid wants to express its gratitude to a player who has proved to be the best in the world and who has marked one of the brightest times in the history of our club and world football.
"Beyond the conquered titles, the trophies achieved and the triumphs achieved in the playing fields during these nine years, Cristiano Ronaldo has been an example of dedication, work, responsibility, talent and improvement."
At 33, Ronaldo says that the time was right for a new move in his career, and admitted he had instigated the move away from Madrid.
In nine seasons since his world record £80m move from Manchester United, Ronaldo won four Champions League titles and two La Liga crowns as well as becoming Real Madrid’s all-time top scorer with a remarkable 451 goals.
