We take a look at the cards, corners and goals count to help you with your weekend wagers, as the Premier League starts to take shape.
There have now been 11 rounds of Premier League action this campaign, with particular teams beginning to gather momentum and ramp up their tallies in respective fields such as cards, corners and goals.
This Premier League stat pack is designed to help and guide you with your Saturday selections, working collectively to produce a Request-A-Bet for the weekend.
Here, Billy Lumsden dissects his best bets with the takeaways below:
- Burnley have received four yellow cards in each of their last two matches and losses against Chelsea and West Ham. The Clarets travel to the King Power Stadium to take on a Leicester side who have obtained 18 yellows and three red cards. For this reason, 60+ booking points in the fixture may be a good avenue to go down., which stands at 7/2 with Sky Bet.
- Premier League Champions Manchester City have racked up an impressive 87 corners from their opening 11 league games, averaging just under eight per match. They host their Manchester rivals at home on Sunday, live on Sky Sports, and should have the lion's share of possession, as they normally do.
- Wolves visit Unai Emery’s Arsenal, who have conceded an average of six corners per game, and with the Molineux outfit’s attacking prowess, they should win plenty of corners to whip in for the aerial threat that their defenders pose. A double on Manchester City 8+ corners and Wolves 6+ corners may be worth consideration for Saturday, which is 7.4/1 in the Sky Bet market.
- Although Liverpool have only notched six goals in their last four games, they remain the fourth highest scoring team in the Premier League behind Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City. They host a Fulham team who slipped to the bottom of the Premier League after their defeat to Huddersfield and have leaked the most goals this season. With Liverpool's formidable attack, it is hard to see past a comfortable Liverpool win, so there may be value-for money in a Liverpool -3 handicap at 7/4.
