90+9: RED CARD STERLING! More drama. Sterling jumped into the crowd to celebrate and the referee gives the City forward a second booking. Interesting performance from Mike Dean today but he had had no choice with that decision.
90+7: A scrambled effort from Sterling beats Begovic to give City what must be the winner. The visitors were pushing and Bournemouth left the forward in too much space. The Cherries will have plenty to say about the amount of injury-time.
90+7: GOAL STERLING!!!!!! CITY GET THE WINNER
90+6: King has a late shot to try and get the win for Bournemouth. Ederson is equal to the challenge and knocks the ball away from goal.
90+5: Booking number eight today as Smith gets a yellow card.
90+4: The substitute is substituted as Afobe is replaced by Lys Mousset. Afobe was injured in a tangle with Kompany.
90+3: Sterling becomes the seventh player to be booked this afternoon. Silly challenge on Arter from the City forward.
90+1: The referee has a word with both Pep Guardiola and Eddie Howe after the fourth official brings him over to the touchline. Both managers look tense but nothing too much to report.

10: Not much to report from City so far. Gabriel Jesus is quiet and the main incident of note is the referee having a word with Nicolas Otamendi after a clumsy challenge.
8: There's a big of discussion around on Sergio Aguero's place on the City bench. Sky Sports pundit Alan Smith says the striker lingered on the City team bus. He's definitely on the bench now though so obviously got to the end of the book that was holding him up.
7: This has been a cracking opening from Bournemouth. Beaten by West Brom and Watford in the Premier League so far this season, the signs are positive for improvement from Eddie Howe's men.
I simply can't see them as relegation contenders when all the pieces join together.
5: Adam Smith makes a storming run forward and sets up a chance for Josh King. City get a block in and nothing for Ederson to worry about. Positive start from the Cherries.

City’s 1-1 draw with Everton on Monday night was a rather turbulent affair but probably confirmed 10 of Pep Guardiola’s men on the pitch at any one time will be a match for most in the top flight.
The way they swarmed over Everton in the second half with substitute Raheem Sterling leading the charge did not resemble a team that was a man light and the pressure finally paid off when the winger volleyed home a leveller.
Surely it would seem he has done enough to get the nod from Guardiola ahead of Leroy Sane to start and his quicksilver running at the opposing defence could well be the basis of the visitors landing odds of 1/3 in what is traditionally an extremely profitable fixture for them.
Four meetings in the Premier League era sees City boast a 15-1 aggregate advantage and Sterling has absolutely filled his boots with five goals in three appearances against the Cherries – he is on offer at 2/1 to add to his tally at some stage at the Vitality Stadium.
The other end of the pitch remains an area of concern for Guardiola with his defence still capable of getting flustered while new goalkeeper Ederson took a fair amount of abuse for the way he let Wayne Rooney’s shot squirm through his legs and into the net.
This is clearly a chance to steady the ship against a side yet to find the target in the top flight this season, although their midweek cup win over Birmingham (2-1) should have instilled a little bit of confidence and belief.
I am not convinced though the firepower up front of Benik Afobe, Josh King and Jermain Defoe are quite in sync yet to keep up with the visitors and it would be a turn up if this was anything other than a convincing away victory, with City's attack strongly fancied to chalk up three or more at odds-against.
