Rob Cross withdraws from 2018 Dutch Darts Masters on medical advice.

World champion Rob Cross has withdrawn from the 2018 Dutch Darts Masters on medical advice.

The world number three had been set to compete in the PDC European Tour event in Zwolle this weekend but due to a chest problem has pulled out of the event.

As a result his intended second round opponent, Steve Lennon, will now receive a bye through to Sunday’s last 16.

The game between Michael Smith and Tobias Mueller/Stephen Bunting will now move to Saturday evening session, with seven games to be played in the afternoon session, which will now commence at 1.15pm local time.
