Danny Ward appointed to role of head coach at London Broncos

London Broncos have promoted Danny Ward to the role of head coach.

The former Leeds forward was assistant to Andrew Henderson, who left the club at the end of the 2017 season to become right-hand man to Steve Price at Warrington.

Ward has been in the capital since joining as a player in 2008 and has been on the backroom staff of the Championship club for the last four years.

London chairman David Hughes said: "Danny has been a fantastic servant to the club here in London under its many guises.

"London Broncos prides itself on having the ability to bring players through the system and now we are bringing through someone who we think has the ability to become a great head coach."
