James Graham's return to St Helens on a deal until the end of the season has been finalised, the club have announced.
The Super League outfit had said last week that an agreement had been reached with the 34-year-old pending the completion of formal paperwork, which has now been completed and signed.
Graham, who made more than 200 appearances for Saints between 2003 and 2011 and has most recently been with NRL side St George Illawarra Dragons, told saintsrlfc.com: "I am delighted to be returning home.
"St Helens has been a huge part of my life since I was a young boy. An opportunity to rejoin the club I have watched from the stands is something I feel genuine excitement about."
He added: "I still believe I have a lot to offer on the field and I am excited about the rest of the season with St Helens.
"I can promise the fans that I will give everything for the badge to help bring us the opportunity of success."
Graham will join up with his team-mates once formal training resumes ahead of the resumption of the 2020 season - which is set to be on August 2.
