David Massey and Rory Delargy are back with their thoughts on today's action and have three recommended bets.
Racing betting tips: Saturday December 27
1pt e.w Ambion View in the 14:10 Chepstow at 6/1 (General - 1/5 1,2,3, min 11/2)
1pt e.w Della Casa Lunga in the 13:20 Kempton at 7/1 (General - 1/5 1,2,3,min 6/1)
1pt win Beachcomber in the 15:07 Kempton at 8/1 (General, min 15/2)
Jour d’Evasion looks the one to be with after a highly encouraging start to his chasing career. He shaped well behind the useful Mambonumberfive and Glengouly at Aintree before stepping forward to win neatly at Bangor. His jumping there was safe and assured rather than flashy, but that’s no bad thing around Chepstow.
He does meet Passing Kate on 5lb worse terms, but she was far more dependent on the heavy ground that day. With conditions likely to be nearer to good to soft here, Jour d’Evasion should be better suited and can follow up.
14:10 Chepstow – Coral ‘Bet £10 Get £50’ Handicap Hurdle (2m 7f)
The best bet on the Chepstow card is AMBION VIEW, who has returned this season looking a much-improved performer. He was unlucky not to win on his second hurdles start last term and has since run two excellent races in competitive handicaps.
His seconds behind JJ Moon and Luttrell Lad read very well, especially with the Exeter form boosted by Peacenik. Off the same mark again, Ambion View looks primed to strike.

A race steeped in history and one that often rewards those carrying light weights. Last year’s runner-up Jubilee Express ticks plenty of boxes and can go one better.
He arrives off the same mark as 12 months ago despite winning the trial earlier this month. His recent Chepstow success over Collectors Item showed he’s fitter, stronger and still improving. The extended trip is a big plus, and his prominent racing style is tailor-made for this track. Expect him to be in the firing line from a long way out.
Dom Of Mary is the alternative. It didn’t take James Owen long to get him back to form and with Zertakt boosting his Newcastle form by winning at Cheltenham since, he looks sure to run a good race again.
13:20 Kempton – Ladbrokes Mares’ Handicap Hurdle (3m)
DELLA CASA LUNGA won this race off the same mark last year and shaped well when third in a Listed event here last month. She’s far better on decent ground, so her two poor runs beforehand can be forgiven.
Back up to 3m, cheekpieces reapplied, and conditions in her favour – she looks primed for a big run.
13:55 Kempton – Wayward Lad Novices’ Chase (Grade 2)
Lump Sum sets the standard, but Mambonumberfive is a chaser going places. He impressed in the Adonis here last season and has taken to fences beautifully, winning at Aintree and Newbury.
With Mighty Bandit boosting the form since, he looks ready for this step up in class and should relish Kempton’s sharp, speedy layout. He cap a good weekend for Ben Pauling.

Ryan’s Rocket looks the best-handicapped runner in the field. He progressed nicely over fences last season and returned with a strong win at Newbury, jumping boldly bar one mistake.
With Thistle Ask and Saint Segal now higher in the weights, Ryan’s Rocket appeals as the one still ahead of his mark.
15:07 – Ladbrokes Handicap Chase (3m)
The Jonjo O’Neill team have hit form, and BEACHCOMBER is very interesting. He bolted up in this race last year and is only 7lb higher. His seasonal return can be ignored given the yard’s struggles at the time.
He ran well off a similar mark at Punchestown in the spring and looks ready to bounce back now the stable is firing.
Viroflay will give this a good go from the front and might be the danger.
