Roger Federer claimed a fourth Miami Open and the 101st title of his career with a ruthless demolition of defending champion John Isner in a one-sided final.
It was a 28th Masters 1000 crown to kick off his second century of winning titles in what has become one of his favourite tournaments down the years.
Federer broke Isner's serve in the opening game of the match and never looked back, racing to a 6-1 6-4 victory in just 64 minutes.
"It was a dream start, relaxing my nerves," Federer said. "What a week it's been for me. I'm just so happy right now.
"It's unbelievable. I played here in 1999 for the first time and here I am in 2019. It means a lot to me."
Federer lost in the final in Indian Wells last week and also lost the opening set of his first match in Miami, but the Swiss star then rattled off 12 sets in a row to secure the 101st title of his glittering career.
The 37-year-old broke Isner's serve three times in the opening set and dropped just one point on his own delivery, and with Isner seemingly struggling with a foot injury in the latter stages, there was never any chance of a comeback.
