British number two Kyle Edmund cruised into the Winston-Salem Open quarter-finals by crushing Hungarian opponent Marton Fucsovics.
Edmund, who is ranked 45th in the world, was untroubled as he posted a 6-2 6-1 win in North Carolina.
The Yorkshireman, into 11/2 for a maiden ATP title with Sky Bet, will next face American Steve Johnson after he beat Carlos Berlocq 7-6 (7/1) 6-4.
Top seed and 7/4 title favourite Roberto Bautista Agut also eased into the quarter-finals.
The Spaniard beat veteran Marcos Baghdatis 6-3 6-4 to set up a last-eight meeting with Taylor Fritz.
Fritz, who received a wild card for the final tournament before the US Open, continued his run with 7-6 (7/3) 7-6 (7/5) win over Paolo Lorenzi.
Fellow American and third seed John Isner was sent packing, though, in a suprise straight-sets defeat to Borna Coric. The Croatian, who beat Andy Murray in Madrid earlier this summer, won 7-5 6-2 and is now a 13/2 shot.
Coric will play Jan-Lennard Struff on Thursday, while 13th seed Hyeon Chung will meet Damir Dzumhur.
