Injury forces former Worcester winger Tom Biggs to retire

Former Worcester winger Tom Biggs has retired with immediate effect due to a long-standing knee injury.

The 33-year-old spent spells at Leeds Tykes, Newcastle Falcons and Bath before joining the Warriors in 2014, helping them to promotion into the Aviva Premiership a year later.

"After a lengthy rehab process with numerous operations, I had hoped to return to play and am very disappointed that this will not be possible," Biggs said on Twitter.
