Wales international prop Scott Andrews, who has joined Bath from Cardiff Blues as short-term injury cover, is on the bench.

Maro Itoje

Lock George Kruis and wing Sean Maitland are ruled out of the Saracens side after suffering knocks. Irish, buoyed by an impressive opening weekend win against Harlequins on their return to the Premiership, make just one change from that Twickenham encounter. Italy international Luke McLean replaces Fergus Mulchrone at inside centre, with Mulchrone being ruled out due to a hamstring injury.

Worcester (11) v Wasps (3)

Date: Sunday September 10
Kick-off time: 1500 BST
TV Channel: BT Sport
Venue: Sixways
Sky Bet odds: Worcester 9/2, Wasps 1/8

Wasps will hope to maintain their flying start to the Aviva Premiership campaign when they tackle Worcester at Sixways.

But Wasps rugby director Dai Young is on alert for the task ahead after both sides recorded contrasting results on the Premiership's opening weekend.

While Wasps ran in seven tries - four of them from scrum-half Dan Robson - as they hit 50 points against Sale Sharks, Worcester came horribly unstuck at Newcastle, losing 35-8.

It underlines Wasps' status as firm favourites, which is further strengthened by the fact they have reeled off six successive Premiership wins against Worcester.

"Listening to (Worcester rugby director) Gary Gold's interviews after their game last weekend, they were clearly disappointed with the result, so we know they are going to come out looking to put the record straight this Sunday," Young said.

"It's not always ideal to play a team who had a disappointment the week before, especially playing them at their place.

"That is probably when they are at their most dangerous, so we know it's going to be tough for us.

"We were pleased with our first 25 minutes last Saturday. We stuck to our policies and structure, and came away with a lot of good scores.

"That has got to be our blueprint this weekend. We have to keep hold of the ball, and we know we will score tries.

"If we can play for 60 or 70 minutes like we did for the first 25 minutes last weekend, it will take a very good side to beat us."

Wasps are without injured wing Christian Wade, who scored a Premiership record-equalling six tries when they beat Worcester in April 2016, so there is a start for Marcus Watson.

Guy Thompson, meanwhile, features at openside flanker, with Alex Rieder moving to blindside and Ashley Johnson reverting to hooking duties, packing down alongside Simon McIntyre and Jake Cooper-Woolley.

Worcester show two changes from the trip to Kingston Park, with Perry Humphreys replacing wing Dean Hammond and lock Pierce Phillips making a full debut instead of ankle injury victim Will Spencer.

British and Irish Lions centre Ben Te'o also starts, being partnered in midfield by Jackson Willison, with Tom Heathcote and Jonny Arr forging Warriors' half-back combination.

Christian Wade

Wasps are without wing Christian Wade and centre Juan De Jongh, who have hamstring and finger injuries, respectively. Marcus Watson lines up on the wing, and there is also a start for flanker Guy Thompson, with Alex Rieder moving to the blindside role and Ashley Johnson returning to the front-row as hooker.
