Prince of Wales's Stakes
Japan heads a maximum field of 12 for the highlight of day two of Royal Ascot 2020, the Prince of Wales's Stakes.
Aidan O'Brien's four-year-old won last year's Juddmonte International at York and he will begin his season over the 10-furlong trip having proven himself fully effective over further.
He could be joined in the race by stablemates Magical, Magic Wand and Fleeting.
John Gosden has three of the 12 entries with Lord North, Mehdaayih and Terebellum all possible runners for the Clarehaven handler.
Andrew Balding has two entries for King Power Racing in Bangkok and Fox Tal, while Roger Charlton's Headman is also a possible participant.
William Haggas' Addeybb and Charlie Appleby's Barney Roy are also among the 12 entries.
Hampton Court Stakes
Andrew Balding's Classic Trial winner Berlin Tango heads 17 entries for the Group Three Hampton Court Stakes at Royal Ascot next Wednesday.
Balding also has Via De Vega to call upon.
They could be joined in the race by 2000 Guineas fifth Juan Elcano, while New World Tapestry and Kenzai Warrior, eighth and ninth in the Guineas, could also run.
Connections of Kenzai Warrior have yet to make a decision on which race the colt will tackle, the Karakontie colt also being entered in both the King Edward VII Stakes over 12 furlongs as he tries to make amends for a luckless run in the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket last week.
Roger Teal's charge got the start all wrong last Saturday, conceding valuable ground in the mile Classic that could not be made up.
The trainer said: "I have got to discuss it with his owners and (jockey)} Jason Watson, we've not made a decision yet - it's up in the air. I suppose the question is whether you want to jump straight up to a mile and a half from a mile.
"He's totally fine after last week, he didn't really have a hard time of it. We put him through the stalls in the week before and he hardly moved, so I don't know what it was.
"Perhaps it was the adrenaline of raceday and he just anticipated the start, but unfortunately it was all over in a couple of strides."
John Gosden could be double-handed with Hypothetical and Enemy.
Charlie Fellowes' King Carney, Sir Michael Stoute's First Receiver, Owen Burrows' Hukum, Ralph Beckett's Mascat and Richard Hannon's Al Madhar complete the 17 entries.
Elsewhere on the card, the Royal Hunt Cup has drawn 82 entries, with a consolation event, the Silver Royal Hunt Cup, being run this year as the opening event on day two of the meeting.
