Ribchester is set to be aided by a pacemaker on his next appearance in the Lockinge Stakes at Newbury after running a fine race in defeat in Saturday's Dubai Turf.
Richard Fahey's top-class colt was beaten just a length into third place on World Cup night at Meydan, despite pulling his way to the front in the early stages of the nine-furlong contest.
In an attempt to help Ribchester settle in his future races, owners Godolphin have transferred Toscanini from Mick Halford's Irish yard to Fahey's Musley Bank stables in Malton.
"His problem is that he goes from 0 to 35 mph in four strides at the start of his races," Fahey told www.godolphin.com
"He has been doing it all his life. We will see how helpful it is to have a pacemaker in his races.
"For the time being, the plan is to go for the Lockinge Stakes at Newbury in May, and that will determine whether it is then the Queen Anne Stakes, over one mile at Royal Ascot, or the Prince Of Wales, over a mile and a quarter, in the same week."
