The going remains soft, good to soft in places for day one of the Cheltenham Festival.
The ground eased from good to soft following 10mm of rain on Sunday night but no appreciable precipitation has fallen since.
Clerk of the Course Simon Claisse said on Tuesday morning: “We had a very light shower overnight and the going remains soft, good to soft in places. We expect a dry day with temperatures reaching 11 or 12 degrees this afternoon.”
