Keke deserves a change of luck after his third in the 5f handicap at Naas on Saturday. Last week's only tip (Mr Hope Street was a non-runner), was in rear early and short of room when bumped before halfway. Repeatedly denied a clear run from two-out, he switched right and ran on when meeting even more trouble in the final furlong. The four-year-old was nearest at the finish and can surely when granted better luck.

Global Asset was headed in the final strides by notebook horse He's Got Game in the 1m three-year-old handicap at Windsor on Monday. William Haggas' quality gelding dwelt at the start but made headway from midfield six-out. Pushed along, he led over a furlong out and kept on but was touched on in the shadow of the post. Gelded since his last run, the son of Night Of Thunder benefited from this step up in trip and looks an imminent winner.

Storm Star made a very pleasing debut when beating favourite Jungle Land in the 6f maiden at Newcastle on Sunday. The runner-up had the benefit of experience but Storm Star, who was keen to post, pressed that rival throughout the final furlong and won going away.

The quality son of Night Of Thunder is out of Stewards' Cup winner Dancing Star, so expect progress.

Rukaana looked very well treated when winning the three-year-old handicap over an extended 1m at Nottingham on Saturday. Charlie Hills' son of Dark Angel was awkward at the start and shaken up in rear over four-out. He made headway from three-out and led inside the final furlong, keeping on well. He hit the line hard, so will stay further.

The quality gelding improved when impressing at Wolverhampton on nursery debut on his final start last term and needed the run when well beaten on soft ground at Doncaster three weeks ago. Unexposed after six outings, this capable grey can win more races.

Tabletalk impressed in the 1m2f three-year-old maiden at Chelmsford on Thursday.

Tom Clover's quality son of Camelot was prominent and made headway to lead two-out. He ran on well in the final furlong and was eased towards the finish.

Promising when third over 1m at Kempton on debut, that form has worked out particularly well and he can rise through the ranks.

Three for the week ahead;

I'm keeping the faith with Catch The Paddy in the 1m handicap at York on Thursday. Kevin Ryan's very highly regarded four-year-old didn't give his running when stopping quickly over 7f at Newmarket last month. He produces his best form at York.

Mythical Phoenix can build on a recent Thirsk second in the 6f handicap at Doncaster on Saturday. I presented Racing TV from the paddock and noted the Irish import playing up significantly before Paul Mulrennan impressively calmed his mount.

The well backed four-year-old, who was badly drawn in stall two, made headway from midfield on the far side of the pack but was passed by Ayr Silver Cup winner Wobwobwob.

Bought for 38,000 guineas out of John McConnell's stable, the son of Dandy Man is expected to improve on that British debut for Julie Camacho; it was his first outing in 249 days.

New Image has options over 7f at Newmarket & Thirsk on Saturday. He stepped up from 6f to win over this trip at Southwell last month and is highly progressive. The lightly raced son of Frankel made a winning stable debut for David O'Meara at the same track in March after 539 days. That was his first start since being gelded, so connections have found the key.
