LUSCIFER will need another step forward raised 6lb but beat River Sprite by three lengths over track and trip last time and may prove worth sticking with. Maykir has lost his way since scoring here in October while Khaan hasn’t raced since placed at the track over a year ago. Nine Elms has a shout and course regular Geography Teacher can figure if the mood takes him but The Retriever’s earlier success on this surface came over 7f.

It was soft going at Doncaster when TIPPERARY TIGER made an impressive winning debut. He may well handle today’s surface on that evidence and this extra distance should suit. Majestic Tejaan also made a winning start over today’s trip at Newcastle and should go well again while The Nail Gunner is the most exposed and was narrowly beaten at Kempton last time. Scota Bess was still well beaten when third at Newcastle but is going the right way while To The Bar and Swing Low are potential improvers.

Mulzim is upped in class bidding for a course and distance hat-trick on his first outing since February. Doc Sportello won at Newcastle more recently though both the latter and Drakefell were beaten by Dark Shot over track and trip back in August. The latter has subsequently finished behind runner-up Free Love as did Thechildren'strust and Oeil De Tigre while Crosse Fire won over 6f here last month but was no match for BIRKENHEAD (NAP) over course and distance earlier. The latter was making his Fibresand debut on that occasion and there should be more to come on this surface.

Mia Dolan has finished a moderate fifth over a shorter trip here but the rest debut on the Fibresand. Dublin Blue has a shout on these terms but ran poorly over a longer trip at Redcar last time while Ocean Beyond was still well beaten when third over 1m2f at Chelmsford. Bumper winner Kayarnah debuts in this code but a newcomer may prove good enough and given ROOT SIXTY SIX is out of a winner on the Fibresand, he gets a speculative vote ahead of Alpha Theta.

Amadeus Grey is only 2lb higher than when scoring here in October with Native Silver behind. Jump The Gun has been racing on Turf but won a maiden race at the track last year and can also figure. But STRAITOUTTACOMPTON included a couple of course and distance wins in his earlier hat-trick and, back on the same mark as his latest success with a recent outing under his belt, he may come out best in this. Cesifire won easily over 7f here last month but is 8lb higher today.

LEXI THE ONE has taken well to the Fibresand and won both starts on this surface. Further progress looks likely and it could pay to stick with Richard Fahey’s filly. Equidae also won over track and trip last month and collateral form gives him the edge over Liamba, a runner-up here on her debut for a new yard. Recent Wolverhampton winner Molly Mai debuts on the surface along with Frow, who now looks high enough in the weights having rattled-up a four-timer back in October.

Dark Side Prince has been thereabouts over the minimum trip here still looking for his first success while Bluella also went close over 5f at the track on her penultimate start. But SHARRABANG found only one too good over course and distance on a couple of occasions before failing to see out a mile last time and Stella Barclay’s charge may prove the one to side with in this. Waqaas debuts on the surface and Tilworth Rose has yet to win on the all-weather.

Badger Berry has won over track and trip in the past though his latest success here came over a mile. First Excel has finished closer at the track of late though was behind JAZZ LEGEND earlier and the latter has since placed over track and trip once again when ahead of Lincoln Red, Magnificia and Le Manege Enchante. He looks set for a return to winning ways and gets the nod. Alqaab returned a disappointing favourite at Wolverhampton and debuts here along with the unexposed Quiteacatch.
