Martyn Meade's Confiding is likely to make his reappearance in the Listed Matchbook-sponsored Heron Stakes at Sandown.
A winner on his debut at Newbury, Confiding ran with credit in Group company when third in both the Vintage Stakes at Goodwood and the Solario at Sandown.
He was supposed to make his comeback in the Craven Stakes last week but met with a minor setback and is therefore expected to resume instead on May 23.
Assistant trainer Freddie Meade said: "I think the plan is to run in the Heron Stakes at Sandown.
"His bloods were not quite right before the Craven. It was nothing major, but we didn't want to give him a hard race and then kick ourselves for the rest of the year.
"We were really looking forward to running him in the Craven, because we thought he would run well, but it was the right thing to do."
