Online bookmakers Sky Bet refunded all bets placed on First Voyage in the 3.45 at Yarmouth on Wednesday as a goodwill gesture.
The four-year-old was sent off at 7/2 in the handicap over a mile, one furlong and 21 yards but didn't get much further than a couple of yards with the Dubawi gelding unseating jockey William Buick almost immediately.
First Voyage was the joint-favourite for the class 3 contest and had been napped by Sporting Life's Ben Linfoot who has been in fine form with winners at 4/1 and 5/1 so far this week.
Michael Shinners, Racing PR Manager for Sky Bet, said: "Backers of First Voyage didn't get a run for their money and it seems only reasonable for us to refund all stakes as a goodwill gesture.
"Messrs Buick and Appleby will be hoping for better fortune at Newmarket tomorrow where we have a Money Back Special in the opening race at 1.50 as well as a range of Price Boosts and extra place races."
