Kark Burke buzzing with Quiet Reflection ahead of Naas return

Quiet Reflection is set to warm up for Champions Day at Ascot next month with a run in the Renaissance Stakes at Naas on Sunday.

The dual Group One-winning sprinter has only been seen once this season, when down the field in the Temple Stakes at Haydock in May.

However, trainer Karl Burke reports last season's Commonwealth Cup and Sprint Cup heroine ready to return to the fray at the weekend ahead of a crack at the Qipco British Champions Sprint on October 21.

Sky Bet make Quiet Reflection a 16/1 chance for the Champions Sprint.

"All being well, she heads out there on Sunday," said Burke.

"She's in great form, she looks great and she's been working well."

Burke also entered Simmie, but she will not be making the trip across the Irish Sea as she runs at Ayr on Friday in the Al Maktoum Cup Arran Scottish Fillies' Sprint Stakes.

Only Mine could attempt to bring up a hat-trick if she goes into battle in the Renaissance Stakes.

Joe Murphy's popular four-year-old has had a super season and is one of 17 possible runners in the Group Three over six furlongs.

Gordon Lord Byron is in the hunt, but he must concede weight to the full field, while Aidan O'Brien has entered Cougar Mountain, Peace Envoy, Alphabet and Music Box.
