Charlie Appleby - Al Dabaran

"He has come out of Ascot really well. He has showed us signs that he has stepped forward from that run and he looks a very live contender.

The forecast conditions will suit him, he has no stamina doubts and I am looking forward to running him."

AL SUHAIL is the highest rated of these having gone close in the Group 3 Autumn Stakes on the Rowley Mile last year with Ropey Guest back in third. The Godolphin colt will be sharper for last month’s outing in the 2000 Guineas and should have the edge over Mystery Power, who landed the Superlative Stakes over 7f at last year’s July meeting. Several are raised in class having shown plenty of promise in novice company including Newbury winner Lord Campari while Magical Morning has won both starts so far this year and Tilsit was a wide-margin winner when landing the odds at Newcastle. Separate and Emaraty Hero look up against it.
