Denver Broncos @ Buffalo Bills

Drafting a tight end so early is always regarded as something of a risk, but it looks like Buffalo’s decision has been a smart one.

Dalton Kincaid didn’t light up the league in the opening six weeks, but with Dawson Knox now on the injured reserve list and the tight end responsibilities squarely on the youngster’s shoulders, he’s shined.

After averaging just 23.6 yards through his first five games, Kincaid’s numbers have shot through the roof.

All of a sudden, with Knox on the sidelines, he put together three consecutive games of 75, 65 and 81 yards respectively, becoming a focal point of the Buffalo passing attack.

That’s unlikely to stop any time soon, particularly with the Bills’ woes in other positions this year.

They face Denver on Monday Night Football, a team that routinely give up over 70 yards to the position, and Kincaid’s yardage line is yet to catch up with his actual performances.

52 yards is a more than reasonable bar for Kincaid to surpass on Monday and with Denver’s inability to perform on the big stage a serious problem for them, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the young tight end link up with Josh Allen in making a big statement.
