Abraham Ancer among trio to qualify for Open Championship

Mexico's Abraham Ancer and Australian duo Dimitrios Papadatos and Jake McLeod have secured their places in the 148th Open Championship after qualifying at the Emirates Australian Open.

Ancer cruised to a five-shot victory in the first Open Qualifying Series event thanks to a closing 69 at The Lakes in Sydney to seal his spot at Royal Portrush in July.

Papadatos claimed the second qualifying spot after finishing runner-up, with McLeod taking the final berth after finishing outright third.
