CME Group Tour Championship: Sei Young Kim wins from England's Charley Hull

England's Charley Hull finished second behind Sei Young Kim at the CME Group Tour Championship despite a blistering finish in Florida.

The 23-year-old hit six birdies in an impressive final round six-under 66, but was just pipped to what would have been her second LPGA Tour title.

Kim made a 25-foot birdie on the final hole to secure the richest prize in the history of women's golf, US$1.5million (£1,167,300), as a closing 70 saw her finish 18 under par for the week.

Hull had gone into the week ranked 51st and without a top-10 finish since May, but the Solheim Cup star produced a strong performance.

Hull finished with a hat-trick of birdies, which looked to have earned her a play-off place before Kim matched her gain at the last.

"I gave it my best shot," Hull told the LPGA's official website after earning $480,000 (£373,536) as runner-up.

Americans Danielle Kang and Nelly Korda tied for third on 16 under.
