After landing a 17/2 'Both Teams to Score' accumulator in midweek, we're back with another fourfold for Saturday's EFL action, enhanced to 8/1 with title sponsors Sky Bet.
CREWE have really begun firing in Sky Bet League One in recent weeks and both teams have scored in five of their past six matches, which is the same record boasted by hosts AFC WIMBLEDON who have already been involved in high-scoring 4-2 and 5-2 defeats in December. The Dons have recorded only one clean sheet at home in the league this season, which is the same paltry number of shut-outs that the Railwaymen have registered on their travels.
BURTON ALBION remain the Sky Bet Football League's undisputed BTTS kings - with both sides netting in a staggering 83% of their League One matches this term (15/18). The third tier's basement side are yet to keep a single clean sheet but have hit the target in seven out of eight games at the Pirelli Stadium. Promotion-chasing visitors DONCASTER have scored in all but one of their 17 matches home and away. Famous last words but this one looks a banker.
COLCHESTER continued their reliable BTTS form by helping us land our midweek acca as they lost 2-1 at Cambridge – that’s 15 of the U’s past 17 games in all competitions now where both teams have netted. Their overall BTTS Sky Bet League Two record is 78% (14/18) while MORECAMBE, Saturday’s visitors are not far behind on 67% (12/18). The Shrimps have scored in all but one of their nine away games.
League Two leaders NEWPORT continue to bang in the goals – they have scored in every game this season and are surely certs to score against a visiting OLDHAM side that is yet to keep a clean sheet. But Newport’s defence is not watertight, they have conceded in eight of their past ten games, and face a Latics side who have scored 28 goals this season, the joint fourth most in the division alongside the Exiles.
